Is the Pacific too warm for Galapagos sea lions?

The rising sea temperatures around the Galapagos Islands could threaten the lives of baby sea lions. The journalist writes this news explain that she says in front of the Pacific Ocean and she hears the raucous barking of a sea lion. Also, she describes the baby sea lions and the moment when she snorkeling with them. She explains that in the islands is strictly forbidden. The events of the climatic events of the world affect a phenomenon called the El Nino-Southern Oscillation has push warmer water and this water is poor in nutrients to the Galapagos. El Nino in one year the islands can expect 15 times the rain in one season. This fact for sea life is catastrophic. 

 In my opinion with this news we can see the effects that have the climate change and this fact is very alarming because once it started no end. The effects of climate change are visible and this means that the effects are started.

In recent years, there is an increasing number of consumers of the social networks, for example increasing the consumers to Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. But is this fact for the society?

On the one hand, the people that use the social networks have lost the face to face communications. For example friends prefer to talk on Skipe better then to meet them. Also the cyber bullying and crimes against children are big problems. Nowadays, you can see in the news adolescents that commit suicide because they suffer these problems.

On the other hand, the social networks help to find romance, seeking a new job and also getting and going products and service referrals. For example some romantic stories have started in the socials networks.

Consequently, the social networks are the motor for the digitalization and the citizens that do not have networks do not exist, and this fact is hard but is the truth. 

Abstract research project

Nowadays, is there a decline of the Catalan language in the media? This is the driving question of this Research Project and it contains two parts: the first part focused on the progress the Catalan language has after the dictatorship until present time. The second part focused on the analysis of the news and the radio sequences. In this part, I have been working very hard because I have searched for the mistakes that the journalists made. The principal objective knows the situation of Catalan language in the media communication.

Finally, once finished my Research Project I can write the conclusions from the graphics that I made after to finalize the practical part. I can conclude that in the media communication the journalists make a lot of mistakes and this fact happens because the automatic translatesand the journalists don’t have a good knowledge of the Catalan language.

Rural live

Today in the TV1 I can see reportage to the rural life and those customs. In the beginning the journalist going to the one small village in the Pyrenees and the people explains his customs and his routine. The majority of the people buys a lot of aliments because in the winter it snows a lot and the village stays isolated. Also the people make yours aliments for example, cheese, smoked meat, marmalade and also made products for example soap. The life in the village is beautiful because the people enjoy with the nature and live without stress and preoccupations.

Presents for Valentine's day?

Valentine’s Day is a beautiful day when the couples demonstrate his love, but not only this day we have to show our love. In my opinion the love demonstrates every day and love not only is demonstrated with material things. But nowadays the society is very materialistic and seems that the more presents makes us your partner loves us more. For example, one couple also searches the perfect present. But is this really necessary? No, isn’t it because the couples that this a distance aren’t made big presents. For example, if I have a couple isn’t needed big present because one beautiful message is sufficient. 

Trash

Today in the TV1 I can see one reportage to the trash and the recycling plants in Spain. In this reportage firstly show the trash that community of Madrid produces in one day. Then show the recycling plants and I can see that a lot of citizen don’t recycle because in the organic trash also are plastic packaging, glass, paper and more trash. Also in the organic trash have electronic equipment and ten batteries. This fact is very impressive because I didn’t understand because the citizen didn’t recycle. One shocking fact is that in one community, the local government, fifty years before, agree to that the waste produces is buried. And currently this trash emits many toxic gases and these create grave health problems.

Carnival!

This week is a Carnival in Roses and I go with my friends. In the beginning, we don’t have clear that we were going to dress up. First, we wanted to disguise of Minion and after by police, but finally we decide to disguise different. Vanessa disguises of bear, Marta of cat and I of superwoman. Also, we decide go only the carnival in Roses because in Castelló and Empuriabrava we don’t can go for the reason that Monday we have exams. We enjoy all night but also we can see the girls very little that smoking and drunk and this fact is very amazing. Their parents should control them and educate them from other perspectives. 

 

UAB

This week we go to the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Marta and we decide to go to the talk about criminology and after going to the English philology. In criminology, one woman explains the characteristics of this degree and the possibility to make two degrees in five years. This option is very interesting because this degree offers two degrees. The woman explains that make this option is very good because study the two degrees both is very good. Each race is complementing and the result is very different. For example the knowledge study the double grade is different if you study a degree and after the master. I will study the double grade in Girona and if I don’t go to this degree I study only criminology.
