Scoop or scandal is a wonderful and suspense book and the protagonist is a young journalist and she goes to Tobania for investigating one massive industrial accident. It is a great book to read in one Sunday because I’m captivated.
Tricia Jenkins is a young journalist on The Daily Globe. She has worked for the newspaper for about a year. Her big chance comes when the newspaper's chief foreign correspondent returns from a trip to Tobania with a broken leg. He tells her about a massive industrial accident that has occurred in this small developing country. Tricia is sent to cover the story from the newspaper. As Tricia talking to the survivors in the hospital and investigate the causes of the accident. She begins to investigate the government's role in the accident, and to discover an alarming trail of clues pointing to the involvement of a British company, Loggins PLC. The company's chief executive is Tricia's father, and her boyfriend is one of the directors. Tricia is torn between her duty as a journalist, and her personal loyalties.
In this book the best part is the chapter where Tricia is going to help the victims of the massive industrial accident because she show his worry. Also the ending of the story I loved because Tricia show that she is a great journalist. Because she discover all the lies.
In general, I loved this book and I learn a lot of vocabulary. I give three Star Rating.
