This trimester in Spanish class I read the book Tres sombreros de copa has written by Miguel Mihura. Miguel was written in 1932 but wasn’t published until 1952, 20 years later. The genre of this book is comic.The story is very interesting, but also are a criticism of the contemporary society. Mainly are two protagonists, Dionisio and Paula. And a very curious this is that the story during one night. Dionisio should marry with her girlfriend, but in the hotel her meet one beautiful young girl. The entire story is centered on the question that has the protagonist. Until the last moment he didn’t know whether to go on with your life or escape with Paula.

Topic: eating desorders. 

•  Presentation (10%): in my presentation uses various resources, for example the Prezi with good images and one video. In someone’s commentaries to the evaluation does for my classmates, his writing that my presentation is good photos. The resources can be focused on my topic and also are very clear and realistic. I’m talking during approximately 5 minutes, but my big problem is that depend very much on the paper. In a lot of commentary to the evaluation my classmates wrote that I’m reading. 
• Body language and eye contact (10%): body language and eye contact is one that my biggest problems in the oral presentations. I have this problem because I’m very insecure and constantly I have looked in the paper. I’m preparing the oral presentation, but when go in front the class I’m getting really nervous and constantly look the paper. 
• Structure (10%): I think that my oral presentation has a good structure because I can explain what are the eating disorders, after I explain the differences and most common types of eating disorders. In second place I explain the causes of eating disorders and the treatment and also my oral presentation have a good conclusion. Finally, I show a video. In my opinion all the parts of my oral presentation are important. 
• Content (40%): the content of my oral presentation is good because I explain the more important facts of eating disorders. In some commentaries of my classmate I can read that my topic in good and original because in the class nobody talk about this topic.
• Language (20%): the last year I improve, but in this oral presentation haven’t continued to improve. Because of nerves, I have made mistakes in the pronunciation and the some structures of the sentences. I think that my vocabulary is rich because I can search in the dictionary works. But my problem is that I do too much long sentences and I didn’t memorize these.
• Pronunciation and intonation (10%): I have mistakes, for example: culture, treated, medical care and more.

What have you done well? What do you need to improve?

I need to improve more thinks my oral presentation. I do a good Prezi and a good structure, but I improve the content, body language and eye contact and the pronunciation. I need to make a short sentence for memorizing the contents and present without seeing the paper. In the second trimester, I have improved and I need more preparation. Also, I need control my insecurity and my nerves.

This trimester in the English class I read the book Dorian Gray has written by Oscar Wilde and published in 1890. The genre of this book is philosophical fiction. The story is very interesting, but as you read also reflected in a lot of things. The argument of this book is very good, and as you read get addicted because the story is very interesting. The story is based in one boy that his name is Dorian Gray and he wants to be young all the life and for getting this think do anything. This book also reflected the arrogance, the avarice and the superficiality that has the protagonist. 

Gender violence in Spain

During the last weeks in the TV I can watch much of the cases when the men will hers wife or girlfriend. All the times in the news I can see the big number of cases when pas this incident. I didn’t know because that happens, but this isn’t incomprehensible. I think that problem could be solved in different ways. First that problem could be solved with a better educated, it is, they should educate from equality. The women aren’t lowering the men. This thought is sexist, archaic and irrational. In the second place the government can be made easier that the woman that is battered can inform against this husband. Finally the juridical process should be faster because the husband at the time that during the juridical process kill her wife.   

Is most important the life of european that a syrian person?

During the last weeks in the TV I can what the terrorist attempts in Paris. I can understand that in Paris the attack it was unexpected. But I think that in Syria all the time there are attack. Most of the people are surprised and alarm for the terrorist attempts in Paris. The European Union and all the other countries help and sponsor France. But why opposite others terrorist attempts in Syria the world didn’t react with this sponsor. Because the world didn’t react the same way? In my opinion before the terrorist attempts the government should have taken securities measures and prevent this acts.

My name is Alexandra, I’m 18 years old and I’m from Romania. Nowadays I’m living in Empuriabrava, a small village of Alt Empordà. I’m studying second of high school in Castelló d’Empúries. My hobbies are reading originals and mysterious books, playing sports and enjoying nature, for example, with an organized plan by bicycle in Aigua Molls.

On the one hand, I can explain my short term goals. The first short goal is to have finished the car license. In the summer I went to Girona to do a theoretical exam. I’ve passed the exam and I didn’t make mistakes. But now I am doing the practices with my teacher. In this incident I can find some problems, for example, I can get nervous and at the moment when the instructor says spin towards right and on this road exist one traffic sign that is forbidden. Despite this fact, I have to be relaxed and probably take one valerian. Another short term goal is to finish second of high school and I go to Selectivitat. For obtaining this I have to study every day, I’m focused and also I’m very organized to be able to do all homework and study for the exams. If I want to pass the exams, I cannot cut classes and I will try to click with teachers. In this way I can find some difficulties, for example: I can’t pass all the exams or I can be overwhelmed and this made the exams worse. But I have one certain idea and it isn’t giving up. Despite this fact, I need a very good plan for having a good organization, study the maximum possible and think of the positive energy.

On the other hand, I can explain my long term goals. First long goal is going to the university, buy one apartment in Girona or in Barcelona and have a good job where I go with happiness. In these facts I can find many obstacles, but in spite of these problems I won’t give up and won’t neglect my objectives. Maybe I’m going to the university I will meet many challenges, for example, I adaptation, or I feeling alone because my family stays in Empuriabrava and I go to Girona or Barcelona.

In life I can find many obstacles in each action or decision I can find many obstacles, but I keep going and struggle for my objectives. I will make all the efforts for obtaining making my objectives become realities, for example, one effort will be during the week sacrificing my hobbies and study.                                                                                 

As a result of my efforts I will have a good future and in my opinion a great life.

Scoop or scandal is a wonderful and suspense book and the protagonist is a young journalist and she goes to Tobania for investigating one massive industrial accident. It is a great book to read in one Sunday because I’m captivated.

Tricia Jenkins is a young journalist on The Daily Globe. She has worked for the newspaper for about a year. In this book the best part is the chapter where Tricia is going to help the victims of the massive industrial accident because she show his worry. Also the ending of the story I loved because Tricia show that she is a great journalist. Because she discover all the lies.

Daily life in cities

In big cities the daily life is very stressed because the people have very responsibilities and they have to do in a short time. The big entrepreneur has a lot of responsibilities and all, the day work very hard for getting big benefits. Also the workers work very hard and under a lot of stress. But once finished the work day the stress didn’t finish. To get home have more things for doing, for example, pick up the kids at school, go shopping, etc.

Television is the cause of the reduction of the reading?

This weekend I am watching the television and now I can confirm that the majority of the programs are trash TV. Because much of the program is dealing with the celebrity exclusives, and this didn’t interested. In the trash programs I can see the people that the majority didn’t have journalist studies and all the people spoken at the same time. Sincerely I change immediately the program.

I prefer to read one book that watching TV, but most people like this type of programs and prefer to see that read. Recently the people read less and this fact is disappointing. For example the students only read compulsory reading and little students read other books on their own.

I think our society should take more interest in reading, as it is very beneficial.

Diets, is the endemic problem of the twentieth century?

The definition of the word diet is: such a selection or a limitation on the amount a person eats for reducing weight. But nowadays the young people do different diets, but didn’t control for a doctor or a nutritionist. And this fact leads to various problems down to eating disorders. Recently the statistics say the number of childhood increasing. But also increasing the people with bulimia and anorexia, because nowadays we attach great importance to physical appearance. The adolescents and the young people are obsessed with physical appearance and make much great nonsense.

I believe that this problem with diets have a solution, because with campaigns and give a talk about a healthy and balanced diet. Also, they must make aware that leading a healthy life and playing sports is achieved a healthy and wised body.  

Homeless in the city

The homeless is the people that having nowhere to live. In my opinion in the world, there are two types of homeless. One is the people that didn’t have a house and money and the second is the people who are forced to the mafias to beg. These people are brought here with false promises of work and the mafias forced them to beg for pay the trip.

The people that didn’t have houses and money often go the soup kitchens, but during the winter these people didn’t have refuge and live on the road.

In my opinion citizen avoid seeing these things and it is easier to turn your head and pretend they do not exist. But these persons are still there and need our help.

Commercials: use of the women image

Now come the summer and on the TV I can see more commercials. But in more commercials the women’s figure is very frequent. Also in these commercials the figure of a woman is very exploited because they often have one role very sexist. For example, in one commercial of detergent whenever being publicized of woman. But these facts also happen in others commercials, for example, in one commercial of the car whenever being publicize for mans.

In our society promote the equality, but is very difficult because nowadays has a lot of inequality, for example: in many enterprises the salary is different about men and the women.  

In my opinion the enterprises of commercial take measures and that appear mans in detergent commercials and vice versa.

Argumentative essay.

In this writing we can read an argumentative essay about the advantatges of life in the city versus life in the country. 

On the hand life in the city has a lot of advantatges, for example the inmediatly acces to the health services. Also we can obtein all the products that we need without long travel. For exemple if you living in the country and you need to buy a car, you go the city. Also in the city we have more facilities to find new job, and in one estreprise when valoretedwe studies. 

On the other hand in the country there are more advantatges that living in the city, for example the quality of the farmed produce. In the country the growers life off the organic produces. Also in the country the environment is better because we didn't poullut with the chemicals and toxic gases. 

In counlution, the quality of the live in the country is better, because the organic produce have more benefits that the food of the city.

In my opinion our planet is taking better care but slowly. Nowadays all the citizens and majority of the big and small companies do different campaigns against the situation of the planet. 

first of all, I don't agree with the people that say that the planet is getting better. Because our think that the planet improve but it isn't the truth. At the moment in news I can see diffrent maritime accidents and all the combustible is dumped the Maditeranean Sea.

Is necessary!

During the second trimester have exams every week and be very exhausting. I didn't have very time for my hobbies. I love going to the gym, because principally for the health and for disconnecting. I loved putting my headphones and my sweatshirt and going to the gym. I enjoy very much when going to the gym because it is as if my world. 

I need one hour or two stay in the gym. And love going alone to the gym because before going with my cousin. But in the last time our relationship is most cold and not close.

In conclusion, I need to go because I need to be alone and in my world. Also the music is very important because influenced very over my humor. 

Ullals

Wales is a wonderful, mysterious and horrific book of the protagonist have a curiosity news about ones mysterious, wild and murder creature. It is a great book, but I'm late two weeks because I have a lot of exams. 

Vincent is a boy and is very rude. Vincent always does what he wanted and the protagonist belongs to  a high social class. His father feels he has lost all control over it and take a radical measure: send it to some exclusive camps. This camp is very popular among the elite for its successful rehabilitation of troubled youth. Gradually Vincent will be adapting to a world of cruel discipline and unhealthy extreme.Soon know of mysterious creatures, wild killer lurking facilities.

In this book the best part is the chapter where Vincent goes to the exclusive campus. Also, I love the end of the book. I loved this book and enjoy very much reading. I give four Star Rating.

My personality

 This trimester in class doing an interesting and innovative quiz of our personality. The classmates and I am watching one video. The video has four parts and depend on are we answers I waited one letter. At the final of video we have four letters. In my case I obtain ISFP and the animal is the Sloth. 

This test describes my personality. This test I'm defined as one person peaceful and easygoing. Also, I am defining as I'm considerate, pleasant, caring, and mellow. And finally in the test explain that I didn't consider one person lazy, but maybe they are just more relaxed than the rest of us. 

I agree for these characteristics because my personality is like this.

Her name is Amanda. She was born in Bulgaria. She lives in Empuriabrava. She studies in Castelló d'Empúries the first high school. Amanda is seventeen years old. My relationship with Amanda is very good, we know each other, from first high school. 

Amanda has a fattish face, the small eyebrows and has a small scar to the eyebrow. She's pale-skinned and has smooth skin. She has a brown eyes. Amanda has light brown hair with highlights. She is small. She is usually dressed in a casual way. She always wears sneakers or boots, wearing long pants or jeans and usually bring sweatshirts and wide pullovers. Also almost always wears scarves and her special necklace. 

Amanda is very ambitious, self-confident and generous but also many times is very impatient. 

She's addicted to social networks. Amanda is hooked on that programme "La que se avecina". She's fond of the horror films, but she isn't keen on the fiction films. 

In conclusion, Amanda is a very funny girl and rarely is sad or pissed. She is one of the best girls I've ever met. She always knows how to make me laugh, even though it is at times a bit heavy. Whenever I'm with her I'm laughing.

Gap kids is guilty of child working in slavery conditions, unpaid and bad treated. 

The brand say that they were not aware. Because they subcontracted another enterprise for that labour. This fact took place in India, the capital of, child labour which economy depends on this. 

Same celebrities have made this brand a fashion Icon. Instead of this Gap has been criticized of illegal sourcing with forced labour. But they have affirmed that they will take mesures with this issue.
